Pix is an instant payment method developed by the Central Bank of Brazil that enables transfers and payments in seconds, available every day and at any time.

To add Pix payments to VTEX store checkout, access the administration panel and follow these steps:

1. In the side menu, select Store settings > Payments > Settings.

2. In the Payment conditions tab, click the button with the + symbol in the upper right corner of the screen to add a new payment method.

3. Search for the Pix option and select it.

4. Complete the necessary fields:

   • Condition Name: choose a name that allows you to identify this payment method and click the checkmark located to the right to save it.
   • Status: activate the payment method using the sliding button.
   • Process with provider: select MercadoPagoV2.

5. Optionally, you can add special requirements by clicking the Add special condition button.

   • Expiration date: Allows limiting the payment method activity only to specific periods or establishing a recurrence.
   • Trade policy (Sales policy): Makes a payment condition available only for one or several specific trade policies.
   • Commercial condition: Creates rules that apply to specific groups of SKUs and determines criteria for a payment method to appear in the store checkout.
   • Account name: This field should only be completed if you have more than one store registered in the same VTEX account. In those cases, you must select which store you want to configure the payment method for.

6. Click Save to activate the configuration.

Upon completing this configuration, you will be redirected to the Payment Conditions screen, where you will see Pix activated.
